New Years Boston Events

Do you have plans for New Years Eve yet? If your like most people, (me included) the answer is probably no. There are always plenty of great outdoor events going on throughout Massachusetts celebrating the close of 2009 and bringing in 2010. The biggest event has to be Boston’s First Night, plenty of indoor and outdoor activities for all ages, including fireworks.

I compiled a list of some great New Years parties a few years ago and update it as information becomes available.

Boston area Halloween Happenings 2009

My favorite holiday of year is with out a doubt Halloween. Living in the Boston area we are fortunate to have so many Boston Halloween parties and events to choose from. First, to kick off Halloween week, I am throwing my annual Monster Bash Halloween party! It’s the 7th year of this Halloween bash and comes highly recommended.

Jimmy Buffett Party Bus

Yesterday I attended my first Jimmy Buffett concert. If you’ve ever had the opportunity to experience the Jimmy Buffett pre-concert tailgate extravaganza, you know that is the highlight of the day.

Our day started at 11 am, shortly after the party bus arrived to pick our group of 18 up and head down to Great Woods (or whatever they call it now) in Mansfield Ma. By the time we arrived the parking lot already had an assortment of buses, and RVs, and plenty of tents, grills and chairs, marking each groups area. We were parked next to a larger coach bus, who brought their own DJ, complete with Sound System.

I spent most of the day wandering the bus parking lot, taking pictures, giving out jello shots & sunglasses, and dispensing cold H20 via a water gun. I had the pleasure of meeting the Owners of the Buffett Bus this bus is the REAL DEAL for Jimmy Buffet Tailgating. They are located in CT, and rent the bus out for other events too.

I have a bunch of picture to post of the days events, I’ll get them up shortly.
